Editorial standard Sourced facts, clearly labelled analysis
Every article separates sourced facts, statements made by organisations, estimates, NEXUS analysis and hypotheses.
- Confirmed
- Established by a solid source — official document, regulator, audited report or reliable primary source — and cited with its source and date.
- Stated
- A claim made by the organisation concerned, explicitly attributed: “according to…”, “the group says…”.
- Estimated
- A calculation by the editorial team from identified data, shown with its method, assumptions and scope.
- NEXUS analysis
- Editorial or business interpretation, visually separated from the facts.
- Hypothesis
- A lead to test or a scenario, never presented as a result or a certain forecast.
- Unknown
- Information not found or not verified: nothing is invented, the gap is flagged.
Every significant figure comes with its value, unit, period, geography, scope and source. A historical figure is never presented as current; outdated information is updated or archived.
An article about a company or an institution never means that it is an exhibitor, sponsor, partner or participant. NEXUS analyses and opportunities are editorial; any public relationship requires a formal agreement and permission to communicate.
